“Rei” = Universal “Ki” = Life Force Energy

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique aimed at promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and physical or emotional healing by balancing the body’s “life force energy”. Using light touch or holding hands over the body, your Reiki practitioner uses Reiki to support your physical and emotional wellbeing, giving your body, mind and soul what it needs.

If you’ve been feeling pulled to give yourself some extra TLC, finding a sense of grounding, or even direction, both of these modalities could be a good fit for you.

May 4 – 9, 2026

Monday, May 4
This is the start of a three week wave in the Front Bench Squat, starting with dynamic effort in the first section to prime the nervous system (lighter loads) , and finishing with heavy submax lifts in the second section (heavier, but not to failure).
*Front Bench Squats heavily emphasize the anterior chain (quads, core, upper back) while offering a nice break for our lower back. By keeping the torso upright, they increase quad activation, improve core stability, and enhance postural strength

Your workout is a short, higher intensity piece where your goal is to manage fatigue across all three rounds while keeping movement quality high. You’ll pick a Toes to Bar variation that works best for you, Dumbbell Hang Power Cleans and a Cal Row to top it off.

Tuesday, May 5
This workout is designed to keep you moving continuously at a moderate effort while alternating between dynamic movement, core work, and cyclical recovery. Your goal across all intervals is to stay consistent and controlled. You’ll have the opportunity to Run and/or Row for some intervals, or, do all Rowing. Your Coach will guide you!
*We will be doing a similiar variation of this workout next week so we’ll make not eof our total distance ran/rowed for reference.

Wednesday, May 6
Today we are starting a 2x per week progression of strength work for Pull Ups which will run for the rest of the month until we get to “Murph”. Even if the Pull Up isn’t something that’s high on your list for movements, building that grip, back and pulling strength in general will support your workouts overall, and continue to make sure you feel your best inside and outside of the gym!

Lastly, we’ll retest “Fools Gold”!

Thursday, May 7
This session is built around longer partner intervals where you’ll alternate full efforts, so your pacing needs to be tough but repeatable. Since each partner completes a full round before switching, you should push your work window with intent while using your partner’s effort as recovery!

We have a cool Sled Pull variation today, running or rowing and a chance to work on your Zercher March!

Friday, May 8
Week two of this three week dynamic effort wave of Band Assisted Squat Jumps and Landmine Rotation Punches. The intent is maximum speed with both movements so make sure you use the correct bands and weights in order to achieve the correct stimulus (purple or green for most!) Slight increase in weight today on the Landmine work, and aim to jump more explosively on the Band Assisted Squat Jumps!

Then, we’ll wave start the class as needed and complete “Firestorm”!

Saturday, May 9
We’ll do our second session of Pulling/Pull Up accessory work today! You are all going to build some serious strength this month on this stuff!

This is a moderate length partner workout where you can afford to push the pace more than a longer chipper, but you still need to be smart with how you manage fatigue across both rounds 😉 . Since you’re splitting the work, your goal is to keep sets efficient and repeatable so you and your partner can keep moving without long breaks!

We’ll be working this for our 2/3 week on Friday!
