Weekly Member Update March 23 – 28, 2026

Hey Fam!
We made it through the Intramural Open and what a BLAST we had! The workouts were tough, but you all conquered them; doing things you didn’t know you could do, getting further in workouts than you thought, and best of all getting to do it alongside your gym family.

We are proud of you!
Keep an eye on the Degree Family Facebook Group and our social media for our official Intramural Open Winning Team recognition!

Now, back to regularly scheduled programming! Scroll down to find info on your Spring Barbell Club, your Spring Wellness Reset and hop into your final Restorative Yoga class of March!

See you in the gym,
– Your Degree Team

Group Training Programming
March 23 – 28, 2026

Monday, March 23
We have a strength superset today pairing a stationary lunge variation(s) with rows to target our back muscles. For your Split Squat variation, aim to have your weight dispersed 70% in the front leg and 30% in the back leg. Your Wide Grip Row variation is going to target your upper back strength and shoulder blade control.

We’ll retest “Quad Dammit” today!

Tuesday, March 24
Today’s aerobic capacity session blends aerobic output with unilateral stability and controlled gymnastics work. Overall effort should sit around 7/10. The goal is to move efficiently through the early work to earn time on the max effort portions!

We’ve got shoulder stability and core work in our extra credit today!

Wednesday, March 25
Week 2 of our Single Arm Dumbbell Bench Press and Supinated Barbell Rows. Everyone did SO WELL with these last week! We’ll decrease your reps so you may look to increase your weight by 5lbs, or, stick with what you did last week and really finish the reps with confidence.

Our workout is meant to feel smooth and like you’re able to transition from one movement to the next (3 movements like last week!) If you stay controlled early you’ll finish strong rather than fade in the final round!

Thursday, March 26
A mid week Super Friend Workout! The first two AMRAPs you’ll do “you go, I go” style, and the last AMRAP you’ll split the work evenly. Big demand on our core today!

Finishing with another set of those Wide Grip Bicep Curls #gainz

Friday, March 27
Last week we built to a heavy double in our Power/Hang Power Snatch. This week we are looking to improve from that effort today for a heavy single. Keep the bar close, with active lats, controlled speed at first then full throttle past the knee into the hip crease!

We’ll repeat benchmark “The Kessel Run”!

Saturday, March 28
This 24 minute Super Friend interval workouts cycles between aerobic effort, full body power, and upper body stamina.

Start your weekend off right at the gym!
