Group Training Programming
March 16 – 21, 2026

Monday, March 16
The final week of our Clean progressions! We’ll look to build to a heavy single today, utilizing all the practice you’ve had over the past weeks. Treat these as technical strength work, prioritizing a tight brace, active lats, and a fast turnover into the front rack. The goal is to carry over the bar speed and movement quality from the dynamic work into slightly heavier loading.

We’ll retest “Jones Bones” today!

Tuesday, March 17
Our aerobic capacity work today blends interval work with max effort rep work. You’ll prioritize building your engine (your heart & lungs!) to power you through your workouts and daily life, as well, target our cores to create rock solid abdominals!

Our Extra Credit will include a shoulder health exercise and a new and exciting plank variation 🙂

Wednesday, March 18
Today we are starting a 2 week progression with pairing upper body pressing stability with posterior chain tension. Both movements emphasize time under tension and positional control. Take 1 to 2 warm up sets to dial in your weight and complete 3 working sets at that weight.

Our full body workout should feel smooth, even if there are wall balls… #openptsd

Thursday, March 19
We’ve finished up our 3 week wave of interval work & Power Clean practice. Way to go! Today we will focus on on shoulder stability and core control with movements like Banded Face Pulls and the Front Rack Turkish Get Up.

Lastly, we’ll finish with another bicep burner. Don’t worry, though, it’s not Bicep 21’s 😉

Friday, March 20
Back to regular Group Training class schedule!

All strength work today! The focus is power first, then positional strength and stability.

Build to a heavy double in the Power/Hang Power Snatch over 4 working sets. Next week we’ll work to a heavy single so save some in the tank today! These should be technical doubles, not max effort misses.

Our strength portion will include a pressing movement, lower body exercise and a row for our back.

Saturday, March 21
Post Open Celebration Workout & Brunch!
