Weekly Member Update July 27 – August 1, 2026
Hey Fam!
We are heading into our final week of July with a little reprieve from the super hot weather (thank goodness!)
You’ve still got time to save a spot in your Summer Yoga classes, and as always, appointments are open for Reflexology/Foot Detox, Reiki, 1:1 Yin Yoga and Personalized Nutrition Coaching in the office.
As we cruise into a new month (soon) keep an eye out on how you’re feeling and the way that life will quietly (or not so quietly) start to get busier. This is a great time if we haven’t already to do a quick check in. Sometimes when things feel the busiest, and the gym feels the most impossible, is really the perfect time to reflect, look at things from a bigger lens and discover how you can make it work.
See you in the gym, Fam!

Group Training Programming
July 27 – August 1, 2026
Monday, July 27
Week 1/2 in this strength superset focusing on unilateral lower body strength, balance, and pressing endurance. The Single Leg RDL and Reverse Lunge combination challenges stability and control on one leg while building strength through the glutes, hamstrings, and quads. The Piston Dumbbell Bench Press complements that work by developing upper body pressing strength while demanding coordination and trunk stability. Focus on quality movement, controlled tempos, and choosing loads that allow you to stay technically sound throughout all working sets!
Then, we’ll re-test a classic workout “Jackie”!
Tuesday, July 28
This Weekday Super Friend workout is broken into three 10 minute AMRAPs, each with its own challenge! The goal is to work hard during each section while managing fatigue so you can maintain a strong effort from start to finish. Communicate with your Buddy on how to divide the work up, and avoid long breaks.
We’ll do a finisher to work on our endurance with our Active Hangs on the bar, or, practice our Hollow Holds as well.
Wednesday, July 29
Today we start a 2 week wave of Poliquin’s 6-12-25 protocol for the musculature of the back. The 6-12-25 is a training method that was originally popularized by Charles Poliquin. It’s great for improving body composition, stimulating hypertrophy and developing strength endurance.
Then, we re-test benchmark workout “Cookie Dough”!
Thursday, July 30
This interval workout is a test of aerobic capacity and repeatable output. The Run/Row provides the majority of the workload, while the other movements challenge your ability to maintain rhythm and movement quality under fatigue. The goal is to complete the work quickly enough to earn meaningful recovery before the next interval begins and keep your final round time as close as possible to your opening effort!
Friday, July 31
This is week 2/3 of a dynamic effort progression focused on improving power production and bar speed in your Sumo Deadlift and Push Press. The goal today is not to lift heavy (stick with us!) Every rep should be fast, crisp, and technically sound. If bar speed begins to slow down, the weight is too heavy.
Stay patient and trust the process, as the objective is to build speed and efficiency that will translate into bigger lifts down the road!
Benchmark workout “Today Years Old” on deck!
Saturday, August 1
This workout is all about maintaining a sustainable pace with your partner over a longer time domain! Split the work into quick, repeatable sets that allow each of you to stay fresh while keeping transitions smooth.

Restorative Fish Pose
With your Summer Yoga classes fast approaching, you can look forward to this amazing pose at your classes!
