Restorative Yoga Classes
Restorative Yoga is a slow paced style of Yoga that helps calm our nervous system, decrease cortisol levels (the stress hormone), provides deep stretching, can improve sleep and so many other benefits.
You’ll use props like Yoga Blocks and Bolsters to really support your body in each pose throughout class.
Treat yourself to one, two, three or all 4 classes this spring!

February Push Up Challenge for Mental Health
Degree has created a Team for the Canadian Mental Health Association Push Up Challenge!
If you’d like to take part you can either REGISTER HERE, or, donate to the Degree Team. All money donated will go to the Huron/Perth Branch.
*Push Ups do not need to be done in classes, however, any push ups you do in your classes would count towards your total Push Up count!
If you plan on completing some of your push ups on off class hours we ask that you refrain from using the gym floor due to the small space. If there is a Personal Training appointment happening, usually the far end of the gym near the dumbbell rack/wall balls is open. If it is the last class of a morning/day we ask that anyone try not to stay too long as our Coaches may have other commitments to get to.

Have fun! =D
Group Training Programming
January 26 – 31 , 2026
Monday, January 26
Building on last week’s strength work, we’ll look to stay at the same weights or increase 5 – 10lb. Try to lean forward slightly on the 1 ¼ Split Squats in order to target the glutes more effectively. The Single Arm Tornado Press allows up to improve scapular mobility while building strength. The Offset Deadlift is a core exercise, so we don’t need a lot of weight here to get the benefit of this movement.
Our workout is a short, higher intensity interval bit. Make sure to pick pacing and mvements that you can move through smoothly the entire time!
Tuesday, January 27
Similar to last week, we have 2 15 minute AMRAPs. One is higher intensity and the other is more mobilty focus. For the first AMRAP turn up the pace when we get on the Rower; we want everyone to need the 1:30 rest period. This workout is about managing your shoulder fatigue as well, so keep the shoulders relaxed on the Wall Balls and try to stack your arm in yoru back with the overhead carries.
Finishing with some super cool bicep curls 🙂
Wednesday, January 28
We’ll start with our high volume Wenning Warm up and the proceed to a varying grip Bench Press. You’ll complete 3 different grips today: Close Grip, Regular Grip, Wide Grip. Speed reps today, keep it light!
Today’s conditioning workout is lower-body power and upper-body pushing strength with built-in recovery. The intent is high-quality reps, consistent movement patterns, and controlled intensity across all rounds. Let’s do this!
Thursday, January 29
Today’s conditioning work is aerobic development paired with intentional accessory and mobility work. This session emphasizes engine development and connective tissue health. You should leave feeling worked, not crushed!
Friday, January 23
We are starting a 2 week wave of some functional bodybuilding movements. Everything we do at Degree blends with everything else, making the programming highly effective and tremendously safe! Those longer duration workouts support the shorter, high intensity ones, and the slower days help us to rock the tougher days.
We’ll finish with benchmark repeat “Firestorm”!
Saturday, January 31
We did it, we really made it to the end of January!
Celebrate with your Super Friend today and trade of working sets =D

Seated Concentration Curls
This bicep curl variation isolates the biceps group removing momentum and maximizing the muscles activated. This creates better muscle tone and mind-muscle connection.
