Group Training Programming
February 2 – 7 , 2026
Monday, February 9
Make sure you take a peek at a little something special from us to you on the front desk all this week! <3
Week 2 of repetition effort Pause Back Squats! Treat the pause as active, not relaxed, meaning you should stay tight through the core and upper back. Keep pressure through mid-foot and use a load that allows consistent depth every rep. Our goal for this is positional strength, time under tension, and confidence in the bottom, not max loading.
Retesting benchmark workout “Old Man Strength”! Add one rep of your Clean variation and Burpee variation each round, while the Lunges remain constant. Make it past the round of 7 to unlock your Old Man Strength!
Tuesday, February 10
Revisiting this skill progression from last week, try to improve with both skills that you worked on last week (ie. skipping and wall walks, or hollow hold variations) This portion serves as both a warmup and skill practice, keep effort moderate with good positions.
Today’s interval workout is designed as steady, sustainable work that challenges coordination, grip, and shoulder stability without pushing us to what we call ‘redline’; that is, you need big, big breaks to recovery. We are aiming to feel energized and ready to rock after this one!
Wednesday,February 11
Week 3 of our Bench Press work! We’re continuing to work our Close Grip, Regular Grip and Wide Grip variations. You can continue to increase your weight a little bit, but remember, they are speed reps so contineu to stay on the lighter side!
We’ll follow up the varied grip Bench Press, building to a technical max set of 3 Close Grip Bench Press. Aim for controlled descent, consistent bar path, and strong tricep engagement through the press. Weight selection should be challenging while still leaving a small margin in reserve to protect the shoulders and elbows.
Thursday, February 12
Today’s cardiac output session blends cyclical work, light strongman elements, and moderate barbell cycling and should be done at about 70% intensity, not pushing too hard but not taking a nap either 😉 Approach the row at a consistent effort that allows you to immediately transition to the weighted carries without excessive recovery.
Friday, February 13
This session pairs controlled posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings, lats) and core stability work with a longer bodyweight conditioning piece that requires smart rep management. The Wall Supported Sumo RDL is intended to reinforce proper hinge mechanics while limiting forward drift and excessive loading. Use the wall as a positional reference, keeping hips back, shins mostly vertical, and tension through the hamstrings and glutes throughout each rep!
The conditioning portion is simple but demanding and should be approached with a pacing strategy from the start. We are pairing a Toes to Bar variation with Push Ups; Those that are taking part in the Push Up Challenge, these count!
Saturday, February 14
We’ll celebrate the ‘loveliest’ day of the year, Valentine’s Day, with your best Gym Crew! Taking on Hero WOD, Morrison, we’ll complete it as a Super Friend workout today.
U.S. Army Specialist Scott Morrison, 23, of Blue Ash, Ohio, assigned to 584th Mobility Augmentation Company, 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, based out of Fort Hood, Texas, died on September 26, 2010, from injuries suffered on September 25 when insurgents in Kandahar, Afghanistan attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his father Donald, mother Susan, brother Gary, and sister Katie.

Supported Shavasana
An absolute gem of a restorative pose, you’ll utilize this in yoru Restorative Yoga practice using bolsters and blocks provided!
Classes start Wednesdays in March, 7-8pm, $26+tx/class
