Hi Everyone!
My name is Wolfgang and this is my first blog post, and for my first topic I’m going to be talking about how important it is for teens to exercise.
I’ve worked out consistently for probably 5-7 years now and in my personal experience working out has been so helpful in many ways. Working out before school every day helps wake me up in the morning and helps me out so much with staying focused and concentrating during class.
Getting an early start on working out helps you in preventing things such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
One of the great benefits of working out is the countless ways it can improve your mental health. This is so great because all the stress that school and assignments put on can get overwhelming but getting out to do exercise everyday can help manage that stress! When I was getting stressed by school I’d take a break to play lacrosse and it would calm me down to go back to work.
There are many ways you can get exercise!
Some of the ways many of people exercise is by going to the gym or going out for a run but there are so many other ways that are a lot of fun! You can join a sports team, go do laps in a pool or even something as simple as going out for a walk.
Exercise is great for anybody but these are some of the things I thought were really important for teens to hear and know about so they can get started on their fitness journey.
