We know one of your number one priorities right now in the age of COVID-19 is staying safe – us too! If you haven’t been into Degree Fitness lately, you might not know all the ways we’re keeping all members and staff safe as best we can! Let us fill you in,
Here’s what you can expect in a HIIT Boot Camp class step-by-step:
All members and participants are asked to wear a mask when entering the gym. Your coach will keep their mask on for the duration of the class.
There is hand sanitizer available on the front desk and in the lounge for you to use on your way in the gym.
All windows and doors are open, as much as weather permits, for great air flow throughout the building.
Your coach will direct you to your personal workout square. This keeps you safely spaced from other participants, and you are welcome to take your mask off while in your space. You’ll find hand sanitizer, sanitizing spray for equipment and a clean cloth for wiping down equipment all there. Your coach will also have some equipment ready for you in your square to limit movement around the gym.
If you do need to gather any other equipment for the class, you’ll be asked to sanitize your hands and put your mask back on when leaving your personal square. There is no sharing of equipment between participants during the class.
During the class, we have everyone facing in one direction or away from each other to limit the already minimal chance of spreading germs.
After class, participants sanitize their hands and wipe down their equipment, and put their masks on to put equipment away.
Workout squares are mopped by coaches between each class.
While we can’t see the smiles under our HIIT Boot Camp crew’s masks on their way out, we know they’re having a great time.
