5 Types of Resources
Written By: Coach Kelly
When it comes to our fitness and nutrition routines, there are a few resources we need to consider that we either have a lot of, some of, or minimal of.
These are:
Time
Money
Environment
Support
Skills
When it comes to living a health-conscious lifestyle, the 5 resources above are key factors in our success.
Time
How much d o you have?
This includes, sleep, recovery, and down-time
Money
What is your budget?
Environment
Are you close to a gym or fitness facility?
Is your workout space at home set up?
Do you have quality food or meals ready or available?
Support
Are family and friends supportive?
Do those around you make hitting your fitness and nutrition goals harder or easier?
Skills
Do we have the skills to do the thing? (ie. make the salad, cook the burger)
Do I need to brush up on some of my exercise techniques?
Looking at the list can become really overwhelming, and that’s often where we get decision fatigue and stop; it’s a basic, human response to overwhelm and stress.
